Reference rule
UKLL casual requires an exact roll to reach Home. Completing a token grants another roll.
Keep the starting point
Before moving a marker, record the distance to the destination. This lets another learner reproduce the question.
Check other choices
If a selected token cannot use a roll, do not immediately assume the whole turn has no legal move. Other tokens may matter.
